CURRICULAR STRUCTURE

The current Curricular Structure of the Program, following its Proposal, encompasses two Areas of Concentration: Biblical Theology and Systematic-Pastoral Theology.

The Biblical Theology Area has a unique line of Research: Analysis and Interpretation of Old and New Testament Texts, with 8 projects.

The Systematic-Pastoral Theology Area has two lines of research: 1) Religion and Modernity, with 13 projects; and 2) Faith and Culture, with 10 projects.

In accordance with the lines and projects, there are the Masters and Doctorate courses offered by the Program.

For the completion of the doctorate, the student must fulfill 45 credits over the first 24 months. In the distribution of credits, at least 30 credits must be made within the Concentration Area to which you are linked and 15 credits in elective courses. Compliance with the discipline “Doctoral Seminar” is mandatory. The student can request the use of credits in Postgraduate courses up to a maximum of 30 credits.

For the completion of the master’s degree, the student must fulfill 24 credits over the first 12 months. In the distribution of credits, a minimum of 15 credits must be made within the Concentration Area to which you are linked and 9 credits in elective courses. Compliance with the discipline “Master’s Seminar” is mandatory. The student can request the use of credits in Postgraduate courses up to a maximum of 9 credits.
